Show different posts per page

Setting your blog’s home page to show only excerpts of your posts looks good as it gives your visitors a hint about the topics of your blog. But there is a problem. I personally find it very irritating when I make a category or tag search and see only a limited number of posts (the blog pages to show at most which you’ve set in your wordpress settings). Although this wont be a case in most of the good wordpress themes present around but if your theme isn’t one of those well developed themes you may have this issue.
To get rid of this limited posts showing up in a search you need to get a plugin called ‘different posts per page’ developed by Maxblogpress.
Different posts per page plugin allows you to set the number of posts you want to show for a category search, archive, tag search or any other search for that matter. To show all pages inĀ a page or category simply set the values of ‘posts’ to -1. You can also make the posts appear in either ascending or descending order.
To run the plugin, you need to register for the developers news letters but don’t worry as you can always unsubscribe once you install and activate the plugin.
