You probably might have got the above error and hence are here.Ok lets see what to do now.
I uploaded a plugin called ‘wavatar’ and activated it from my wp-admin.When I wanted to see the options of this plugin I clicked on the settings option. The above error started to show.
I clicked the back button in my browser and it was fine and returned to the plugins page. But the same error was appearing again and again when I tried to move away from that page. There was no option for me but to close the browser and open it again.I cleared all the cookies and tried to login to my site, allas!! same error again.
Then the wordpress.org basics struck my mind. When ever you upload any plugin be sure to backup your database ,says wordpress team which I followed everytime and so I was prepared for anything.Another basic from wordpress.org is that whenever any plugin malfunctions you either rename it or completely delete it using your FTP and automatically the plugin will be de-activated.
I completely deleted the ‘wavatar’ plugin using Fire Zilla and tried to login again.
At last it was a success. So the bottomline from this is,when using wordpress do follow their basics.
Do mention your thoughts when you first saw that error using comments.I love to hear them.

Thank you very much!
My blog was out of order after installing a new plugging with the “Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user()” error.
After using Filezilla and deleting the two last pluggins I installed, everything went normal
Kind regards,
Francisco
You’re welcome !!
Found a resolution. Just read someone comment the problem as “It’s probably a plugin that sought to call it too early….” So I flushed the entire plugins folder. Bling! My site is back on now. My next task is to find out who was the naughty boy kicking down my WPMU2.7.
Congrats for getting back your Wp to normal state and do update me should you find that naughty boy
The same error (in line 920) happens on me when I upgrade my WPMU from 2.6.x to 2.7
The error page gave a second line message tell an error came from wp-shortstat in the mu-plugins. So I removed it via FTP. The second error message went away, but still left me with the line 920 error : (
Scratching my head on what can be done next.
