Bluetooth file transfer not completed
Windows was unable to transfer some files
The file could not be sent because the connection could not be established. Check to make sure the Bluetooth radio is plugged in.
That is the message I received on my Dell laptop when I tried to transfer a file from my phone. This used to work seamlessly before but for some reason it doesn’t any more. When I checked in the devices and drivers section, there were no Instances of ‘Bluetooth’ there. The Bluetooth Radio driver was missing and so were the Bluetooth Peripheral devices.
The ‘devices’ can in no way be missing but I guess what were missing were the drivers for those devices (even why these drivers were missing suddenly, I do not know).
Tip: When ever you encounter a problem with Hardware or a driver, it is best to head over to this page and have a quick run (that download’s a file). For quick access, you can save that Auto run tool some where on your hard drive. The next time you have any issue, just click on that and that tool will try to fix the problem by itself, including checking for updated drivers. I recently resolved the Windows ISATAP Adapter error using the same automated tool.
The Bluetooth issue I was talking, was fixed instantly using this tool and I can see Bluetooth Radio, Bluetooth Transfer (LAN) and Bluetooth Peripheral device once again in the devices and drivers section.
