It always bothers me when I send right email to a wrong person. My boss sometimes asks me to send a biz. plan to my colleague A.Harish which I would send it to G.Harish, another colleague of mine. We use corporate Gmail account and now I need not bother about such things as you can undo your sent email. While it cannot undo an already sent email hours ago, what it can do is give you that extra bit of time (5-6 seconds) that you need to realize that the mail was sent to a wrong person.
To enable this feature, just go to settings in your Gmail and get on the labs tab. Search for ‘Undo send’ feature and enable the same and save settings. Your Gmail loads again with the new feature enabled. Try it by sending an email to self before risking on some others.
It already saved me from few abuses that I ought to get from my boss (ufff…)
