Google Adsense Vs Yahoo Publisher network Vs MicroSoft PubCenter - Know who is the clear king.
There is a significant rise in the search for the term ‘yahoo adsense‘ if we are to go by the Google search trends. When a user types ‘yahoo adsense’ in the search box, clearly, he wants to know if there is something like Adsense from Yahoo. The brand ‘Adsense’ is so popular on the Internet that you rarely find a website that doesn’t have an ‘ads by Google’ block. But interestingly, when you type ‘yahoo adsense’ in Yahoo search, the first website that turns up is Yahoo search marketing and not Yahoo Publisher network.

Yahoo’s search marketing is a tool for Advertisers to place their ads on publishers websites similar to Google’s Adwords. Clearly, a wrong site. But on the other hand, when you use Google for the same search, YPN turns up first.

Just throwing some light on why Google has been the king in this business for years and probably for many more years to come.
I know that Yahoo’s answer to Adsense is YPN. But for users who don’t about it and makes a search in Yahoo (since they are searching for a Yahoo product), they are clearly ending up on the wrong website.
So my friend, ‘Yahoo Adsense‘ is nothing but Yahoo Publisher network.
You can apply to YPN here. But currently you can only do so, if you are based in United States having a valid Social security or Tax ID number.
And similarly my friends, ‘Microsoft Adsense’ is nothing but the Microsoft Adcenter for publishers (called as PubCenter). You can sign up for MS PubCenter here but this too is limited for US based publishers.
Pfff, when Google is trying to expand its product to all 195 countries in the world (is the number correct?) Yahoo and Microsoft start from scratch and starts from a single country, US?
Probably another reason why Google is the ‘BOSS’ (Not the Yahoo’s BOSS) in this business too.
