Gmail is not free

The title may be  a bit misleading but Gmail is not actually free if you exceed your free storage limit.

I found this today when I looked at my settings.

When I clicked on that link , the following price rates turned up.

Although the rates seem to be pretty low for a Google quality email service, I wonder if anyone actually uses extra paid service when you can simply create another free account or delete your old useless e-mails.

May be this is for corporates who use Gmail for their custom domain.
