Starting October 1, 2009 Airtel is offering free 100mb of data each month for 3 months. This offer is valid till December 31, 2009.
However, it has to be noted that this offer is only available for select handsets of Nokia and Samsung. The handsets that are eligible are:
Nokia
Nokia 5130k
Nokia E63
Nokia 6700
Nokia N97
Nokia 5800 Xpress music
Nokia N97
Nokia E71 and
Nokia 6303
Samsung
Samsung Star (3G and wifi)
Samsung F480
Samsung Omnia HD and
Samsung Corby.
To avail this offer, one has to send an SMS as My Data to 543210 (toll free)
Upon sending the SMS, you’ll receive a confirmation message that the request was accepted and you’ll further receive settings which has to saved as default settings.
Apparently, the APN is the same as that of Airtel Mobile Office. So if you already have the MO settings, you may not receive the settings this time. In such cases, wait for 24 hours for the service to be activated and test a little before going full out using the Mobile Office APN.
You can check the usage any time as usual by typing *123# and sending it to 121.
After completion of 100mb in any month normal, Mobile Officer rates of 30ps/50kb will be applicable until the next month in the offer period comes.
Unlike other handset offers which are applicable only for new purchases, this free data offer is applicable for even existing customers of Airtel who have the above handsets.

Chances are that the offer is still alive for your number. Just use the hot key *123*10# to check whether there is any balance. If there is something there, then the offer still exists.
What to do after 3 months.and after 300mb
This hotkey wil be for tn circle only i think so.it shows perfectly the mb’s that’s remaining for me.
Lucky you. No luck here in Hyderabad. But the offer is still working though. Earlier, it was said that the offer would end by December 09′ (Starting from Oct 09′), but it seems to be still alive.

If its 0.00 then this facility is not activated or you have finished off the 100mb’s ..
Is this hotkey same for all circles? I doubt it. I checked it (AP circle) and it was the dedicated account for SMS and not data.

I have Samsung star. I sent an SMS as My Data to 543210.I got a reply that I will get some settings and asked them to save as default but I didn’t get any settings. I waited for 1 day. what should I do?

The settings you’ll receive is same as the Mobile office settings. If your Star has already MO settings, then you’ll not receive them again. Since you’ve waited for 1 day, just try accessing any small web page(with Mobile Office APN and not Airtel Live APN) and see if you are charged any thing.
