You’ve seen Special Packs for STD, Special packs for SMS and Special plans for local calls. Here’s the jack of all mobile Offers from Tata Docomo that offers all those with a single recharge and with a validity of 1 long year. This offer was seen in Andhra Pradesh (and may be there in other circles too) and comes for Rs.98 only. Generally, all the prepaid recharges in the Rs.90’s are related to GPRS plans (see Uninor Unlimited GPRS), but here’s something different (but includes GPRS too) from Tata Docomo.
With Rs.98 recharge you get all the following described below for 1 year:
Local Calls to Tata numbers (includes Tata Docomo, Tata Indicom and Virgin mobile) will be charged at 1ps/6sec and STD calls to Tata numbers at 1ps/2sec (Caveat here is that the first 120 seconds on any day will be charged at the default 1ps/sec rate).
Free 100 Local SMS. After that, all local and STD SMS will be charged at 1ps/SMS (Remember, the validity is 1 year).
A one time Data of 1GB will be available for usage. Although 1GB for 1 year may seem to be less, believe me, for mobiles, you can actually manage with 1GB quite easily.
Note: All local and STD calls to any other network will be charged at the default rate of 1ps/sec.
You get a talk time of Rs.25 with this recharge.
This recharge option is only available to New Customers entering till July 31, 2010.
Wish something like this was there with Airtel too. Almost 1.8GB of data is going waste each month with its RC 98 GPRS plan.
