Couldn’t afford your favourite app for its high price tag? Check if that exists in these 10 apps Google is offering for just 10 cents (about Rs.5.12 in India). On the occasion of reaching 10 billion app downloads from the Android Market, Google is offering 10 popular paid apps for just 10 cents for 10 cents.
Apps list
Sound Hound
Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD
Minecraft – Pocket edition
SwiftKey X Keyboard
Endomondo Sports Tracker Pro
Great Little War Game
SketchBook Mobile
FieldRunners HD
Color and Draw for kids: phone and
Paper Camera
Certainly some very popular names there (and one or two first time names, for me at least) for you to chose from. As said earlier, you don’t have to rush as these will remain at 10 cents for the coming 10 days. Would’ve been nice if there were more apps in that list but at least, I have one that I really wanted and have already purchased it. 20 billion downloads shouldn’t be too far (a year from now, may be) looking at the rate of Android adoption, and we should see 20 popular apps (hopefully for 10 cents itself, not 20 cents).
Update: There’s a completely new list of apps (for the same 10 cents) on day 2. So it appears as if new apps will be added every day in these 10 days. Nice Google.
