Uttarakhand Power Corporation limited (UPCL) invites application from eligible Indian for the posts of Assistant Engineer (Trainee) (Electrical and Mechanical), Assistant engineer trainee (Civil), Junior Engineer trainee (Electrical and mechanical) and Junior engineer trainee (Civil).
Assistant Engineer (Trainee) (Electrical and Mechanical):
Total number of vacancies is 68.
Pay scale is Rs.8558-275-13500.
Educational qualification: Candidates should have a degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized university with 65% marks.
For SC/ST candidates a mere pass is sufficient.
Assistant engineer trainee (Civil):
Total number of vacancies is 8.
Pay scale is same as above.
Educational qualifications: Candidates should have a degree in civil engineering from a recognized university with 65 % marks.
Junior Engineer trainee (Electrical and mechanical):
Total number of vacancies is 79.
Pay scale is Rs.5300-9100.
Educational qualifications: Candidates should have a diploma in electrical, electronics or mechanical engineering from a recognized university with 55 % marks. Pass is sufficient for SC/ST candidates.
Junior engineer trainee (Civil):
Total number of vacancies is 14.
Pay scale is same as above.
Educational qualifications: Candidates should have a diploma in civil engineering from a recognized university with 55% marks.
Note: For Junior engineer trainee vacancies, candidates should have registered in Uttarakhand Employment exchange.
Selection for Assistant engineer will be based on performance in written test followed by Interview where as there will only be a written test for junior engineer.
Application fee is Rs.400 for General and OBC and for SC/ST it is Rs.200.
