SSC section officer(commercial audit) notification

Staff selection commission invites applications for the posts of section officers (Commercial audit) under Group B, Non gazetted officer posts.

Scale of pay:

Rs.9300 – 34800 plus Rs.4800 as Grade pay.

Total number of vacancies is 240, unreserved vacancies being 122.

Age requirements:

Candidate must be between 18 and 27 years as on 09.04.2009.

Age relaxations applicable to backward classes as per govt rules.

Educational qualifications:

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized university or CA/ICWA/CS from reputed institutions.

Selection will be made through a written test and an Interview.

Application fee:

Rs.100 for General and OBC candidates payable only in the form of central recruitment fee stamps (CRF Stamps).

No fee is payable by SC/ST/PH and Ex-servicemen.

Applications duly filled in must be sent to the candidates Regional head offices.

  •  Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Panji, Ahmedabad & Vadodara : Regional Director (WR), SSC, Army & Navy Building, 1st Floor, South Wing, Pratishtha Bhawan, Old CGO Complex, 101, M.G. Road, Mumbai-400020
  • Allahabad, Patna, Ranchi, Dehradun, & Lucknow : Regional Director (CR), SSC, 8-AB, Beli Raod, Allahabad-211002
  • Guwahati (Dispur), Itanagar, Imphal, Shillong, Aizwal, Kohima & Agartala : Regional Director (NER), SSC, Rukmini Nagar, P.O. Assam, Sachivalaya, Guwahati-781006
  • Bangalore, Dharwad, Mangalore, Gulbarga, Thiruvananthapuram, Cochin, Kozhikode and Trichur : Regional Director (KKR), SSC, 1st Floor, 2nd Block, ‘E’ Wing, Koramangala, Bangalore-560034
  • Raipur, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Bhopal : Dy. Director (MPR), SSC, ‘Nishant Villa’, F.Jalvihar Colony, Raipur-492001
  • Chandigarh, Shimla, Jammu & Srinagar : Dy. Director (NWR), SSC, Block No.3, Ground Floor, Kendriya Sadan, Sector-9, Chandigarh-160017.

The above centers will also be the exam centers.

Applications must be superscribed “Applications for the post of Section officers (Commercial audit) – 2009″ and the center name.

Last date for the receipt of applications is 09.04.2009.

For far flung areas the last date is 17.04.2009.
