Maharashtra electricity board Management trainee notification

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Management trainee.

Educational qualifications:

• Degree of recognized University.
• 2 years full time or 3 years part time Post Graduate Degree in Administration/Management with specialization in HRD/Personnel Management or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Personnel/Personnel Management/HRD from a recognized University or Institute.
• Minimum Computer literacy. Must be well versed with MS Office applications.

Age limits:

 Max age of 35 years and +5 years relaxation for backward classes.

Work experience:

No post qualification experience is necessary in case the candidate is

Possessing Post Graduate Degree in Administration /Management with specialization in

HRD/Personnel Management.

In case of Post Graduate Diploma in Business

Personnel/Personnel Management/HRD, 1 year post qualification experience in

Personnel/HR Department in Govt. /Semi Govt. or Private Company is necessary.

The selection will made through a series of written test, Group discussion and a personal interview.

If selected, the candidate will be under training for 6 month during he/she will be paid a fixed monthly salary of Rs.16000.

After completion of Training period satisfactorily they shall be absorbed as

Jr.Manager(P)in the Pay Scale of Rs. 6585-310-8135-325-16585 on probation for

a period of one year. (Pay Scales are due for revision w.e.f. April, 2008)

Candidates should draw a DD of Rs.500 in favour of  “Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Mumbai”, payable at Mumbai.

No other form of fee will be entertained.

Application form duly filled along with the necessary attested certificates should be sent to Post Box No. 7452, Jogeshwari(East), Mumbai – 400 060 only by ordinary post before 04.04.2009.

The written test is likely to be conducted in May in Mumbai.

Required certificates include certificate supporting age, experience and caste ( in case of Backward classes).
