Life Insurance Corporation of India has officially announced the recruitment notification for 520 assistant administration officers.
The split in vacancies are as follows:
1.) Assistant administrative officers (Generalists) – 400 vacancies
2.) Assistant administrative officers (Chartered accountant) – 100 vacancies
3.) Assistant administrative officer (Actuarial qualified) – 30 vacancies.
Age requirements:
Candidates must be with in 21 to 30 years range as on 01.03.2009.
Relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years and OBC is 3 years.
Educational qualifications:
For AAO (Generalists): Bachelor/Master’s Degree from a recognized Indian or Foreign University with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate in either of the Degrees which is relaxable to 45% in case of SC/ST candidates.
Note: Preference shall be given to candidates having professional qualification like CFA/ CS/FIIRM/MBA from recognized University or Institute.
For AAO (chartered accountant): An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
For AAO (Actuarial qualified): A pass in Seven or more Subjects (Papers) of the Examinations conducted by the Institute of Actuaries, London or the Actuarial Society of India (excluding Paper – CT9 – Business Awareness Module) as on the date of eligibility.
Scale of pay: Rs.11, 110 – 540(14) – 18670 – 560(4) – 20,910 (Under revision)
Application fee:
A fee of Rs.300 should be paid only in cash at any LIC branch. After paying the fee candidates are advised to see whether the transaction number, date, branch code and collection number are there on the receipt or not. They are required to apply online.
Before leaving the Cash Collection Centre, candidate should specifically check that the Account Code No.114033 is appearing in the Miscellaneous Receipt issued to him/her. Candidate should also check that his/her name is correctly reflected in the Miscellaneous Receipt.
SC/ST candidates need not pay any fee.
Last date for paying the fee in amount at LIC branches is 08.04.2009. (Extended till 11.04.2009)
Last date to apply online is 11.04.2009.
