Andhra pradesh public service commission today on 30 december 2008 released a notification for its Group-1 services for which applications are invited from eligible candidates from 24/03/2009 to 09/04/2009.
Total number of provisional vacancies are 129.
Age requirements as on 01/07/2008 are 18-39yrs for the posts of Deputy collectors in AP civil services(09 posts),Commercial tax officers in AP commercial tax services(20 posts),Regional transport officer (2 posts),District B.C welfare officer (2 posts),Municipal commissioner Gr 2 (4 posts),Administrative officer and treasurer Gr.2 in medical and health administrative service (26 posts),assistant treasury officer (2 posts),mandal parishad development officer in A.P (21 posts) and 18-30yrs for Deputy superintendent of police (30 posts),deputy superintendent of police(communications) (3 posts),assistant prohibition and excise superintendent( 8 posts).
The scale of pay for deputy collectors is 10845-22956 and is the same for deputy superintendent of police.
Educational qualifications : A bachelors degree from any recognised university in india for all posts except deputy superintendent of police in communications for which a bachelor degree in Radio engineering in electronics and communications engineering is essential.
Candidates need to apply only through ONLINE mode from 24/03/2009.
