Clerical vacancies in ESI corporation maharashtra

Employees State Insurance Corporation in Maharashtra region invites online applications for the posts of clerk.

Total number of vacancies is 90.

Scale of pay:

Rs.5200 – 20200 plus Rs.1900 as Grade pay and other allowances.

Educational qualifications:

Higher Secondary Pass (pass in 12th Standard) or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education.

• Knowledge of typewriting, with a speed of 30/25 words per minute, in English/Hindi, respectively.
• Working knowledge of computer, including use of Office Suites and database.

Age requirements:

Candidates must be between 18 to 27 years of age as on 22 march 2009.

5 years relaxation is provided to SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for persons with disabilities.

Application fee:

Rs.125 for general and OBC candidates and no fee is payable by SC/ST/PWD candidates.

A DD of required amount should only be drawn from SBI or its associate banks in favor of ESI Fund, account number .1, payable at Mumbai.

Candidate’s name, address, & Computer Generated Application Number should be written on the back of demand draft / Bankers’ Cheque / Pay order.

Selection will be made in two rounds, written test and skill test.

Skill test includes testing your typing speed, knowledge of computers including use of office suits and DB.

Last date to apply online is 22^nd march.

After applying online, candidates should take a print out of the application and attach the following documents and DD and send to P.B No.7632, Malad West post office, Mumbai 400064.

Certificates:

(i) Attested copy of School Leaving Certificate, in support of date of birth.

(ii) Attested copies certificates and testimonials in proof of educational qualification.

(iii) Year wise /semester-wise mark sheets in respect of all the academic and technical

examinations passed.

(iv) Medical Certificates issued by the Competent Authority, specifying the extent of

disability, in case of PH candidates.

(v) Attested copy of Community / Status certificate in the prescribed form in case of

candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman category issued by competent

authority.

On the left side of the envelop candidates must superscribe “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LDC”.

Applications must only be sent by ordinary post.

Last date for receipt of applications by post is 27.03.2009.
