Posts under group 4 are as follows:
Junior assistants, Supervisors-AP Juvenile welfare and correctional sub services, Matron grade-2-AP Juvenile welfare and correctional sub services and Hostel welfare officers grade 2 AP social welfare sub services.
The Andhra Pradesh public service commission has announced notifications for general recruitments under Group-4 for the above posts. The number of vacancies in the same order as the posts above is as follows 598, 34, 12 and 200.
The educational qualifications for the above posts are as follows:
For junior assistant’s posts, candidates need to have a minimum of Intermediate education with a pass certificate.
For supervisors and matron posts the minimum qualification is a pass certificate in tenth class.
For hostel supervisors, candidates need to have a B.Ed degree.
Pay scales:
Junior assistants: Rs.4825-10845
Supervisors and matrons: Rs.4595-10285
Hostel welfare officers: Rs.6195-14175.
The selection of candidates will only be based on their performance in the written test and there will not be an Interview for Group-4 posts.
Applications are only allowed through online mode. All though the notification has been released, the website for online application will be opened only on 03.02.2009.
Online applications will be closed on 24.02.2009 (Extended till 28th february 2009)
