APPSC Group-2 services notification

Andhra pradesh public service commission invites applications for the posts under Group -2 services. Total number of posts is 465 (See update at the end of this article) in which Executive posts are 296 and 169 are non-executive.

The details of the above posts with educational qualifications, scale of pay, age requirements are as follows:

Executive posts:

Deputy Tahasildar in AP Revenue Sub. Service:

Number of vacancies: 67

Age as on 1.07.2008: 18-39 (Govt orders awaiting on the max age limit)

Scale of pay: Rs.7770 – 18575.

Educational qualifications:  A bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Municipal Commissioner – Grade III in AP Municipal Commissioner Sub. Services:

Number of vacancies: 08

Age as on 1.07.2008: 18-39

Scale of pay: Rs.8385 – 19125.

Educational qualifications:  A bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Asst. Commercial Tax officers in AP commercial Tax Sub. Services:

Number of vacancies: 60

Age as on 1.07.2008: 18-39

Scale of pay: Rs.7770 – 18575.

Educational qualifications:  A bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or an equivalent qualification and physical requirements mentioned in the official online notification.

Prohibition & Excise Sub inspectors in AP prohibition & Excise Sub. Services:

Number of vacancies: 100

Age as on 1.07.2008: 18-30

Scale of pay: Rs.6675- 15500.

Educational qualifications:  A bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Extension Officer in AP Panchayat Raj & Rural Employment Sub services:

Number of vacancies: 61

Age as on 1.07.2008: 18-39

Scale of pay: Rs.8385 – 19125.

Educational qualifications:  A bachelor’s degree with Economics or commerce from any recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Non-Executive posts:

Assistant Section officers (Finance Dept) in AP secretariat sub. Services:

Number of vacancies: 26

Age as on 1.07.2008: 18-39

Scale of pay: Rs.6675- 15500.

Educational qualifications:  A bachelor’s degree with Economics and commerce from any recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Assistant section officer (Legislative Dept) in AP legislature sub. Service:

Number of vacancies: 15

Age as on 1.07.2008: 18-39

Scale of pay: Rs.6675- 15500.

Educational qualifications:  A bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Senior accountants in AP Treasuries & Accounts Sub. Services:

Number of vacancies: 75

Age as on 1.07.2008: 18-39

Scale of pay: Rs.6195- 14175.

Educational qualifications:  A degree in commerce or Economics or Mathematics from a recognized university or an equivalent degree and Pass in any of the following certificate courses Examination conducted by the Board of technical Education and Training, Hyd, AP.

a.) Office Automation

b.) PC Maintenance and trouble shooting.

c.) Web designing.

Or

A degree in B.C.A or B.Sc (computers) or B.Com (computers) or B.A (computers) from any recognized university or an equivalent degree.

Only online applications are entertained. The website link for online application will be opened on 25.03.2009 (See update below) and closed on 16.04.2009 (last date for online application)

After filling all the required details, the application and a challan will be available to download. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the downloaded application.

Using the challan pay the amount mentioned in it at any branch of State Bank of India.
