Only online applications are entertained. The website link for online application will be opened on 25.03.2009 (See update below) and closed on 16.04.2009 (last date for online application)

After filling all the required details, the application and a challan will be available to download. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the downloaded application.
Using the challan pay the amount mentioned in it at any branch of State Bank of India.

The online application process has just finished and it’ll take time to conduct the written test. First the candidates whose applications are subject to be rejected will be put up for challenge in coming months and then slowly, the call letters will be dispatched which will have the written test date with venue.

There is nothing to download. It’s an online application. You have to apply online (by visiting http://www.apspsc.gov.in) and then fill up the details. The application may not be available now but it will be there once the opening date comes by.

The notification for Group 2 has already been announced and the online applications for it will commence from October 1st.

Sir, since the Group 1 application process has begun, it wud give very helpful to most of us, if u could give information about the syllabus and which coaching center in hyderabad to attend as well as what book to follow and where to possibly get them, regarding the coaching center’s could u please reply as to who is the best and how much do they charge, timing etc, wud really appreciate a reply from u. Thank U.
Regarding Coaching centers – That would be a very difficult job for since I don’t belong to Andhra Pradesh state. Your Knowledge/choice would be as good as mine at least in this regard.
Regarding Syllabus- I’ll soon write an article on that with detailed syllabus for Group I exams.

by reading above msgs, is this notification of group that has been postponed ? Notification no. 38/2008. Actually i want to apply for the services, but i crossed 30 years age. Is that 39 age limit is applicable for group 2 as well. And can u please tell me your forecast of group 2 announcement. I am in other country now, and would like to plan visit to india accordingly, though i can apply online.

Applications for Group 1 are currently going on and Group 2 will commence as and when the results of last years Group 2 exam are out.
And regarding Group 1 and Group 2 exam conducting every year, well it should happen every year if we ought to go by the rules, but you know Govt is itself the rule these days. So no guarantee that there will be recruitments every year.
Regarding Age for Group 2, the notification should be released in a week or two from now, when you’d get a clear picture.
Where can I get the applications?
Applications for Group 2 are not yet available. In fact the notification released in Dec 2008 will be revived and a fresh notification will be announced shortly, only after which the online application process will begin.

Group 1 supp notification will be announced today, the exams for which will be clearly specified in it.
Since the results of Previous Group 2 exams are not yet announced, this year pending Group 2 application process will still take some time to revive. As such, it could be re-instated by this month’s ending.

If online applications are put on hold for Group I Group II, are they considering paper applications? is there any specific announcement to the extent of possible application date? Is is election gimmick to announce a notification 3 back and keeping hopes or APPSC is serioud in this recruitment process?
No paper applications will be received since the process has been completely automated. Deferred dates for online application will be/or may be announced soon.
Election, as you said could be the reason for the delay, and it’ll be good on their part if they resume this process as soon as everything seems to be ok.

2. Will be the exam fee is same for all posts or the only one pay
You have to pay separate fee for each test you are applying for. If all exams fall in the same day, it is up to you to decide which exam to appear.

You have to apply online. Application process has not yet begun. When you apply online a chalan will be generated through which you have to pay the specified amount in any Bank.

hai,sriraj,this is aswani.i completed my MBA this year.i have very much interest in Groups.so,iam preparing for those apart from my job.i cleared about all issues.but,i have small doubt, what will be the fee for Group 2 exam.where i will took DD,please reply me as soon as possible
Fee is not through DD. When you apply online, a challan will be generated along with the typed-in application. You have to take their print-outs and pay the fee (Which will be mentioned in the generated challan) in any Nationalized bank.

Any way, I’m not sure if you can apply or not as no ‘as on’ date was mentioned in the advt. But if your so keen to take the exam, I encourage to apply now and not regret later knowing the fact that you were eligible.
Hi Sriraj, I have completed my graduation B.Sc (Maths) from Ambedkar Open University and PG in M.Sc (IT) from Annamalai univsersity (distance). Shall I appear for gropu II or degrees should be from regular universities?
There was no such specification mentioned in the notification. But I cannot assure you that you are eligible, so better confirm before applying.

This groups notification is announced after 5 years. How ever from now on, Govt promised to announce groups notif’s frequently(may be every year is their Idea)

Dates are clearly mentioned in the above article. You have to apply only within the given time. And about the books for Groups, I’ll be coming with that in few days, So stay put..

As I said before, groups got nothing to do with your under grad stream. It just requires a degree. That’s it. You should apply to the posts that best suits you.

Online applications have not begun yet. Process will start on 25 march and end on 16 April.

APPSC in general requires any graduation level and it has got nothing to do with your engineering stream ( except for some core posts).
So you can apply to various posts under group 1 and group 2. But one thing to remember is that, success in Groups takes a lot of effort since competition will be enormous.
