Did you get your acknowledgement card?
I suppose you can’t change it now as your call letters would already be printed and ready to be sent.
But why would you want to change it now?
It’s just a matter of 1 day. You should be ready to write it where ever you have to if you are serious about the exam.

I have applied for JTO but i have not received any acknowledgement or hall ticket. I have prepared very well for the exam. And i don’t want to loose this oppertunity. If i visit BSNL head office in Ulsoor is it possible to know whether my application is accepted or rejected? Since there is no registration number to followup. How do they check if i go personally and ask for the status? I have notedown my dd number.

You should not worry if you didn’t receive your acknowledgement card. But you should be worried if you get a reject letter which you din’t receive I suppose?
Some applicants got their reject letter and so must be safe and should get your call letter soon. Exam is still very far away from now.
Acknowledgement cards are generally not received by many applicants.
Is it possible to change examination center for JTO 2009?

hi sriraj, i had self attested the photo on the application form and sent it to lucknow office.Now that they have rejected the form and replied back stating they want the photo to be attested by gazattete officer and returned by no later than 15 of may. And the problem is i receive the rejected form on 26th may. Would they be accepting the form with updated info now?
15th of May is well passed by. Though it is not your mistake of receiving the confirmation late, you can’t blame them.So I guess this is it for you in this years JTO exam.

I have applied for BSNL JTO examination.They scrutinized my application and send me an acknowledgment. It says “Two photos – for issue of Hall permit is found missing”.And they are asked to report in person.But I am sure that I have attached two photos along with the application.I dont know whether the envelop is tampered during postal transportation.Is it possible to contact the officers over the phone.I have applied to BSNL karnataka telecom circle,Bangalore.Pls give me a solution
I would recommend you to visit the BSNL Bangalore head office with 2 photos as soon as possible if you are interested to write the exam.
However, I found few phone numbers of Bangalore BSNL offices which you may find useful. You can all them or visit them and request them to give contact number of their higher official who is looking into this recruitment process.

In acknowledgement card they given RR No. If I sent the application again then there would be two applications with same name.

I got acknowledment card but in that they mentioned you are not attested the photo and do attestation, send to us as soon as possible. My doubt is i have to send one more copy of application with attested photo or in acknowledgement it’s self, i need to atttest. Please, reply as soon as possible….
Is your application returned back along with acknowledgement card? If so, then simply attesting the existing photo will do. Otherwise, a new application with attested photo should be sent I suppose
Along with the new application its better to write down the earlier DD number(if you remember), your details in a slip or if you have any tracking number in your acknowledgement card, just for their convenience.
i also received a rejected form…how can apply it again…..whether i can or not please give reply
You cannot re-apply again this year.

Some people saying cutoff for JTO exam has been revised,if so what is the cut off mark for BC.And even i too didn’t receive the acknowledgement card,plz tell whom we should contact in BSNL.Please do reply sir.Thank u!
Not receiving acknowledgement card doesn’t mean in anyway that your application isn’t accepted. Our post masters are too lazy to deliver back the cards. If you want to contact about the status, you can visit the BSNL office to which the application was sent.
You may receive your call letter from May 3rd week till second week of June.

I said’ dispached stamp for application form is today..thats mean i sent a form on time ….. sholdnt be fail my appplication………..(i attested a photograph by self rest of two photo garph didint attest by me)
Anyway, you should not attest the 2 photos which you send along with the application. Only the one which you’ve pasted on the application form must be attested

Minimum ranking cut off marks for any category will be decided by BSNL seeing the performance of all candidates in the test.
if my application reaches after 6april….it won’t be acceptable…..but sending stamp on 6.shouldn’t be fail
What stamp? You can’t send a separate attested photograph.
i attest a photograph by mysef but not attested by gazeted officer

If your application reaches in time and is it’s alright then it will be surely accepted..

Hi Sriraj, Got cleared of most of the doubts reading the comments above. Please clarify one more thing. The enclosures mentioned, dont specify anything about the certificates for education, community and age for persons not seeking any relaxation based on them. So there is no need to attach them right ?

I did great mistakes.1 On the application I marked JTO 2008
2 i paSted a photo that is neither self attested nor by gazetted officer.
3.i forgot to send two envelpoes and photos.
Definitely they reject what to do?
can i send those two envelpoes and photos through registerd post.would they accept.please tell me a suggestion
1. JTO 2008 is correct as most applicants are saying
2.Photo not being attested at all is not acceptable and so is envelops.
And you cannot send envelops separately now. If you are serious about the test, you can resend the entire application as there still are 3 days left.
