Vodafone prepaid recharge by SMS

Here is a dead simple way to recharge your mobile, no internet connection required nor are you required to go out of your house. Simply send an SMS from your Vodafone prepaid Mobile to instantly get recharged. If you have a State Bank Group ATM cum Debit card (Maestro card), all you need to get this recharge by SMS feature is to register at any State Bank ATM once.

Simply select Mobile registration after inserting your card and then enter your mobile number. Along with the ATM Print out, you will also get an SMS alert on your mobile indicating successful Mobile registration.

Now, you are all set to recharge your Vodafone Prepaid mobile via SMS any time.

Procedure to recharge

To recharge your prepaid mobile number, you have to send an SMS in the following manner:

RC SBI Amount PIN and send it to 147. For example, type RC SBI 100 1234 and send it to 147 (Assume 1234 to be some ATM PIN number)

Where Amount is the top up amount that you wish to recharge with and PIN is your State Bank ATM cum Debit card’s PIN number.

Note: 1.Users who received State bank ATM cum debit card from other State bank of India group bank’s such as State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore etc, can also type in the same format (that is, one should not replace SBI with SBH or SBM Accordingly).
