Earlier we have written an article with list of Trains from Secunderabad to Shirdi. At that time, there was no Railway Station in Shirdi and hence the nearest railway station, Nagarsol was mentioned. But now, there is a brand new station developed in Shirdi, called Sainagar Shirdi (code: SNSI), and here are the two exclusive trains from Secunderabad/ Hyderabad that will take you directly to the land of Sai Baba.
1. CCT SNSI Exp (Train number: 17206) and
2. VSKP Shirdi Spl (Train number: 08567)
The first train, CCT SNSI, is available on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and will start from Kakinada town at 6.15am. It reaches Secunderabad via Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal at 4.25pm. It stays in SC for 15 minutes and departs at 4.40pm and reaches Sainagar Shirdi at 9.15am the next day.
The fare for Sleeper class in this train is Rs.290 (from Secunderabad to Shirdi)
The second train, VSKP Shirdi Spl, is only available on Wednesdays’ and begins its journey from Visakhapatnam at 5.30am and follows the same route as the previous train from Rajahmundry (it doesn’t touch Kakinada) and reaches Secunderabad at 6.10pm. It departs at 6.30pm from Secunderabad and reaches Shirdi at 11am.
Fare for Sleeper class in VSKP Shirdi special is Rs.275 (from Secunderabad).
