ICET 2010 counselling dates are finally announced. The counselling starts from August 19, 2010 and will take around 10 days to complete the web counselling process. For 2010 academic year, there is an addition of 29 new MBA colleges and 1 new MCA colleges taking their total seats to 64760 and 49185 respectively.
Steps are being taken to make the web counselling process as smooth as possible.
As always in any web counselling, the certificates verification should be done where you’ll also get the user ID and password to exercise your web options.
Visit this article on ICET online counselling to know the list of certificates to be kept ready for this stage (note that this link refers to ICET 2009 web counselling, but the certificates required will be the same). All certificates must be in original and as specified in that link, 3 copies of all those certificates are also needed.
It is advised that you get all those certificates ready before hand to avoid last minute confusion.
The certificate verification that starts from August 19 will be done in 15000 rank schedules. This means that on the first day students from rank 1 to 15000 will be called for certificate verification and on the next day, students with rank from 15001 to 30000 will be called and so on.
Students can attend for certificate verification at any Help line center, list of which including their addresses will be available at apicet.nic.in in due course of time.

A fee of Rs.600 (Rs.300 for SC/ST) has to be paid during certificate verification.

25 and 26 August: Rank 70001 to 110000
27 and 28 August: Rank 110001 to Last

It’s left to you. If you want to join, you have to pay the tuition fee before the deadline, otherwise, you’ll loose your seat.
