ECIL has recently issued a notification(No.12/2010) for 122 vacancies under Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET). The last date to apply online for those posts is finished yesterday on 4 December 2010. The same was the last day for print out of registered online application form containing system generated application number. If any candidate has failed to take a print out of the same by now, there is no way to take a printout of the application form from now, which is required during the Interview stage.
The selection process consists of Written test and Interview. The questions in the written test will be focused on the concerned Engineering subject only.
Hall tickets (Call letters) will be made available on ECIL’s website (www.ecil.co.in or www.ecil.gov.in), from which candidates have to download. Candidates’ are also advised to keep visiting their website for updates on date of written test and availability of Hall tickets.
When the Hall tickets are available, candidates should download two copies of the same, affix identical photos on each of them and get both of them signed by the invigilators during the written test. One Hall ticket will be taken by the Invigilator (along with ECIL’s copy of pay in slip) and the other Hall ticket must be kept with you for future reference (possibly in Interview stage).
Information of Candidates’ who are shortlisted in the written test and called for Interview will be kept on the website and will also be informed via email.
