For employees who’ve recently changed their organization and waiting to track their PF transfer status online, the day has arrived. As we said before, the EPFO is currently undertaking a major overhaul of its PF payments and transferring system. Till date, records of 117 PF Offices out of 120 have been digitized.
Employees who have recently changed offices and claim their PF to be transferred to the new office can now check their claim status online. You simply have to visit this webpage and visit the ‘Know your Claim status’ link. Select your PF Office from the dropdown and input your PF number.
It is said that the transfer of PF between different offices is now taking under 1 month which used to take a year before digitization.
If the new office is in the same city as the old office, the PF money will be transferred electronically. In all other instances, the form 13 application will be sent to the other office for verification and the money will be sent manually.
