Regarding APGENCO Junior Plant Attendant (JPA) recruitment notification, here is the selection process and Syllabus for the written test.
The selection will be made for a total of 100 marks and consists of 3 stages, Preliminary evaluation, written test and trade test.
In Preliminary Evaluation, similar to Sub-Engineer selection (link), maximum of 30 marks will be allotted to marks scored in ITI (Your ITI Marks x 30/Total ITI marks). A maximum of 10 marks will be given depending on numbers of years ago you passed the Qualifying exam (ITI) from the date of notification. A maximum of 10 marks will be given if you have contractual experience in APGENCO for at least 6 months or 5 marks for any thing less than 5 marks.
So a total of 50 marks will be for Preliminary evaluation.
The written test will be for 25 marks consisting of 50 Questions with half mark to each questions. Questions will be from Power Plant of Thermal/ Hydel Generating stations.

Finally, Trade test will be for 25 marks.
Note: Candidates ranking high after preliminary evaluation only will be called for written test in ratio of 1:20. Then, candidates scoring high in written test will be called for trade test in the ratio of 1:3.
After all the three stages, final Merit list will be prepared for 100 marks and shortlisted candidates will be given appointment. Selected candidates will get in the pay scale of Rs.9520 – 16085
The date of written test will be informed later. Hall tickets will have to be downloaded from the APGENCO website online.
