If you are in Tata Docomo’s 3G Network and are looking to buy its 3G Data card for wireless Broadband, here are the various tariff plans you can look at. First, you have to note that these prices will obviously be more than those CDMA based Data cards like Tata Photon plus etc, since the speed here is double than that.
The Tata Photon 3G Data card comes at a price of Rs.2600.
Prepaid Unlimited Data Plans
Rs.1000/ month: 3.6Mbps speed up to 5GB and then the speed will be 128Kbps
Rs.1250/month: 3.6Mbps speed up to 10GB and then speed will be 128Kbps
Rs.1275/month: 7.2Mbps speed up to 5GB and then speed will be 128Kbps
Rs.1500/month: 7.2Mbps speed up to 10GB and then speed will be 128Kbps
Prepaid Capped Data plans
Rs.500/month: 650MB Data at 3.6Mbps
Rs.750/month: 2GB at 3.6Mbps
Post free Data, a browsing charge of 1ps/20KB will be applicable.
Postpaid Unlimited Data plans
Same as Prepaid plans but there’s an additional 21Mbps plan:
Rs.2000/month: 21Mbps up to 15 GB and then speed will be 128Kbps
Note: Depending on your usage, fair usage policy may come into effect which further reduces the browsing speed. For example in the Rs.1000/month plan for 5GB data, the speed reduces to 128Kbps if the Data usage gets above 5GB. In turn, the speed decreases to just 10Kbps if the Data usage increases to over 15GB.
bsnl is the best no fairy usage policy and good coverage
Currently BSNL and other Govt. 3G services are best.
