The Andhra Pradesh State board of Technical education invites applications for the examination of Typewriting and shorthand.
The Typewriting (Lower and higher) and Shorthand examination will be held for the subjects of English, Telugu, Hindi and Urdu and is scheduled to be conducted in the month of January/February of 2010.
A candidate can take the exam in more than one subject but has to pay the fee separately for each examination.
The examination fee is as follows:
Typewriting Lower grade/Junior grade – Rs.100 per subject
Higher Grade and shorthand Intermediate – Rs.150 per subject
High Speed Shorthand – Rs.200 per subject
Application form cost – Rs.10
If you choose to pay the fee in Tatkal mode, the fee is Rs.1400 per subject.
Note the important dates:
Applications will be on sale from 02.11.2009
Last date to submit applications is 25.11.2009
Last date to submit application with fine (of Rs.200 per application) is 27.11.2009
Last date under Tatkal mode is 08.01.2010.
Application forms will be available from several Polytechnic colleges across the state.
