The Railway Recruitment Board, Secunderabad (South Central Railways, www.rrbsecunderabad.org) invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for the following vacancies:
Assistant Loco Pilot which has a pay scale of Rs.5200 – 20200 with a grade pay of Rs.1900.
Note that this a centralized Employment notice (No.01/2010) given at the same time for various RRB’s in India. Candidates can apply to the vacancies that exist in their region. Candidates can choose to apply in the local language of their region.
In case of Secunderabad, Telugu, Marathi, Kannada and Oriya are considered as regional languages besides English, Hindi and Urdu.
Total number of vacancies under RRB Secunderabad is 1505 out of which 1040 come under South Central Railway (SCR) and the remaining 465 come under east cost railway (ECoR).
Out of 1040 vacancies in SCR, 361 are Unreserved, 178 are reserved for SC, 89 for ST, 374 for OBC and 38 for Ex-Servicemen.
Out of 465 vacancies in ECoR, 143 are Unreserved, 128 are reserved for SC, 90 for ST, 61 for OBC and 43 for Ex-Servicemen.

I had applied for the post of TC, Commercial Apprentice in the month of November last year and the exams were supposed to be conducted at the start of this year, but were postponed due to unknown reasons. Sir, since I stay in Rajasthan I am unable to get any info on the expected date of exam. Recently I heard through a friend that the exam is schedule to be conducted on 10th of Dec and I am yet to receive any kind of information from SCR recruitment board i.e. hall ticket or any other info. Irequest you to kindly send an email on the given email id so that I can make my arrangements to be available on the date of exam.
