For some reason if you are a fan of Micromax mobiles, especially its Qwerty phones and waiting for a CDMA qwerty to be launched, your wait will be answered soon. A sister of hugely popular Micromax Q5 FB under the name of Micromax Q5C is in the making that will work on a CDMA network.
Although not as good looking as Q5 FB, Q5C has all the features that Q5 FB has. Starting with pre loaded Opera mini Browser, Facebook, Nimbuzz social networking App to all the hardware features.
Micromax Q5C features
Q5C has a 2MP Camera with LED flash, a 5.5 cm screen (diagonally) with a resolution of 320×240 pixels. Its music player supports songs in the formats of mp3, amr, midi and wav while video player supporting mp4, 3gp.
Q5C supports Java, it seems, but then again you’ll not be free from those tens of installation errors that other similar mobiles from Micromax experience.
It supports WAP and MMS, has a SMS memory of 1000 and phonebook memory of 1000. Its external memory can be expanded up to 4GB using a microSD card.
A predicted talk time of 5 hours and stand by time of 10 hours is what the company claims to be.
Remember that Q5C doesn’t have Wifi unlike Micromax Q7. CDMA mobiles are generally known for their speed in accessing the Internet. If you have a reliance CDMA connection, you could use their Reliance unlimited mobile Internet plan to experience some decent Internet speeds via Opera mini browser.
We expect its price to be around Rs.3500.
Q5C is not a very good CDMA phone because there is a major problem of Internet connection. This phone does not support the internet connection at all. It is just a multimedia phone and its screen and body are not have good quality. So, I suggest dont buy that phone at a cost of Rs 4400. It is feaseable at lower than Rs-3500.
