How easily can one change from being a fan to a state where he hates the thing so much..
For all this while, I was a great fan of Tata Sky DTH, but after reading this little piece of study by TOI, comparing all DTH services in India, my opinion on Tata Sky has come down.
That report just added to my frustration of not having a mobile app for Android. It is known that Tata Sky recently launched a Mobile Access App for its DTH service. What’s strange is that it shows the app working on an Android phone in the Ad but actually it is only available on Ios at present, while the Android version will ‘come soon’.
Every other platform, Ios, BB and even Nokia has a Tata Sky but not Android. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a basic app for Android first than upgrading apps for other platforms with latest features?
Coming to number of channels, Tata Sky has second least number of channels that any DTH service has, which is at least 90 channels less than the highest number of channels provided by a service.
Thanks Tata Sky, my annual pack will end some time later this year and I’ll jump the gun to Airtel immediately.
