This is regarding a recruitment notification (possibly a fraud one) being given under the name of GCI Enterprises across all states in India.
The company (posing as a state government department) has been giving frequent advertisements in local news papers in almost all states/cities (Delhi, Meerut, Dehradun, Gujarat/Ahmedabad, UP, MP, Assam) of India which first appeared around October/November of 2009. Look for this notification which was given in the state of Andhra Pradesh in the name of Andhra Pradesh Grameen corporation of India Agriculture Forest Vigilance (GCI Enterprises) in a local newspaper on November 6, 2009.
For other states, the name Andhra Pradesh will be changed to that states’ name.
Since it didn’t ask to pay any fee for application (only a self addressed Rs.6 stamp is asked) and posed like a Government notification, many job aspirants were found to have applied for the said jobs.
It has to be noted that the address for sending the applications is present in Uttarakhand (even in the notification given in AP).
And now in January 2010, the said company started dispatching appointment letters (with www.agcienterprises.com link in the letter which doesn’t work) to those (most of the applicant’s) who applied. It also asked to pay some fee around Rs.3000.
One has to wonder how a company can recruit people without even taking an Interview or at least verifying the original certificates of the applicants’?
Why GCI Enterprise is a fake company?
One good reason to call GCI a fake company is because it mentioned in its notification that it will not accept applications made through normal post/registered post/speed post. Instead it asked to send using a private courier which itself can prove that the said company didn’t even have a registered office address.
This website Sriraj Digital Magazine has been warning time and again against such fake advertisements and will once again take this opportunity to warn job seekers to keep away from GCI and similar fraud companies. If you did send your application, you can do nothing about it now but what you can do is not to get involved with it any further (by not sending the asked DD amount).

My son-in-law Mr Ramji Tharu residing at Gandhidham Kutch -Gujarat also got a appointment order from G.C.I.ENTERPRISES, address given in one sapret paplent is office No.3, Mehu wala Mafi, Shimla bypass road, Dehradun-248001(Uttranchal) for the post of driver basic pay Rs.8000/- + other benefits like free accommodation Or 40% HRA , OT, bonus, insurance food-tea, conveyance, gratuity, Medical etc, I fail to understand that without any interview or communication how is possible to get job, they also demanded DD for Rs. 2700/- before 31st Dec-11 & intimated that DD should send by couriers only.
This is clearly show that it is a fake company.

It is very clear that GCI Enterprises is a frud company,not disclosed the phone no and Delhi address. Can we nat trace the curlprits behind it who are asking money throug DD. That meanes definetly they have valid account No in a Bank and there must be a signatory verified by the banker. Is thereany body can help to put thm behind the bar. Today one of my relative asked me wheather he will send the money or Not? I am resding at New Delhi.If any influential person can do something against them I will also spare my time to save the hard earn money of the poor people.

Even some om our local boys have received such appointment letter recently. I came accross this matter and was sure it is a complete fake and just to make fool people who are under search of a job.
This is completely a crime and the authority shoul take steps to find out them and penalise badly.
I would request all of the aspirants not to deposit/send and money to their accounts to avoid any such ecnomical losses.

I am belonging from West Bengal (Kolkata) . in july 2010 i got an appointment letter from G.C.I enterprises. they have asked me to send a dd of Rs.3150 by a private curior and also have mentioned that will not accept the dd if send by Govt. postal service. But after knowing about the fraud and cheat company I am not sending anything to them. I shall also advise you also avoid this kind of cheats.Note : I have not attended any interview or exams regarding there application.

That sounds fishy to me. They also claimed Rs. 3450 as draft from me. But when I want to recheck I found these complaints.There is no valid website and telephone no. of this company. I think the Address would also be fake.
They said in the letter that they are the unit of Agricultural and Rural Development corporation of India. But surprisingly there are no such unit of Central Government & their address in Kanpur Head office is also in doubt…
Therefore I request u guys that dont send any money to this company and also its time to take action against this fake people because they use the middle class emotions as there profit…Please inform to the police……

Dear Sir, I fathom the depth of the rascal’s cheating policy to earn money from the unemployed persons who along with their family are starving day by day during the hard days of financial stringency.
Steps must be taken to prohibit such type of forgery against such enterprises in different places of India.
I also received such kind of appointment letter of the same enterprise asking to send a D.D of near about Rs.4000/= before 5/6/2010.

You can cancel the DD if it not yet en-cashed. Just contact the bank from which you took the DD with the DD receipt, they may have information on whether money was taken against that DD or not.

I got a leeter from g.ci enterprise on 1st may 2010 and they have write that they have recruited me and told to send me a draft of rs.3400 by 13 may 2010. i filled up a form in this year first or second month which was out in our local newspaper of bengal. so i filled it up and sent it by normal post but i got confused when i got a direct recruitment letter from the company without any test and interviews. i was wondering that this is a fraud company or not but u have realised me from this tension and ur doing well in saving the unemployed pepoles to fall in this type of fraud. thanks once more for ur suggestion.

If money is your problem, you can always cancel the DD by visiting the issuing bank (along with the receipt) before it is encashed.

I received also the appointment letter, then I got surprised and doubted how they selected me with out any written test or interview and I came to know, they asked DD sending by Private courier, Registered post not accepted, and thank you for your information. so freinds lease don’t send DD’s or any information to this type fraud and stupid people.
hello, this is shekar from Bangalore. my friend also received that appointment letter.we have sent the dd amount of 2750. we don’t know its fake or real. i saw a report in SUVARNA 24/7 NEWS CHANNEL and i searched. now wat to do we don’t know. we have already sent the dd to that address.

ihave received an appointment letter from gci enterprises.aiready i know that is a fake company. why becuse that company given ad for andhra pradesh grameena corporation executives on nov 8 2009. and they were said that appplications should send in courier only. if it is regd company why they are asking private couriee and how give appointment letter with out documents verification.

It is my unfortune that I lost Rs.25/- for sending the blody application for the fake advertisement given by GCI. I think, some literate thieves by name GCI have published such kind of advertisements & asked the DD amount by taking innocence of indian rural unemployed youths. No company issues such demand , so dont give importance about such advertisement.

who want to earn money without any effort or any work. Prima facie it appears from its procedure for selecting a candidate for various posts indicates it is a planned and cheating the innocent un employed.

hi this srinivas we have seen the notification given by gci enterprises and applied for our suitable jobs after one month my brother got a oppointment letter for the job of driver,they also asked for dd of Rs1850/-.we did so,before sending dd we would like to see & contect the web&email but both are not working.all this tells us this is a fraud company so i wanted to file a complaint against this “GCI ENTERPRISES” the people of ap who are applied for please contact below no in order tosupport me in this regard.
