Similar to ICET and EAMCET counselling in 2009, EDCET counselling has also been decided to be a WEB COUNSELLING. But unlike ICET or EAMCET, the options exercising process on the Web in EDCET is optional but not mandatory. The first step in EDCET counselling is the Online counselling that starts from August 27. The detailed rank wise notification can be obtained from

Students who are happy with their allotted seat through online counselling need not attend the second phase of Web option exercising. If you choose to exercise your options through web, your seat allotted through online counselling will be cancelled and also you have to deposit all you certificates at the counselling centres until the web counselling process is finished.
Note here that the Online and Web counselling processes are both different.
During the Online counselling stage at the counselling centre candidates should take their Allotment order, Fee payment receipt, Receipt of certificate and Scratch card containing a password.
You have to verify that the serial number mentioned on the scratch card is the similar number printed on the allotment order.
The schedule for Options exercising process through Web is as follows:
From 8AM on 14 September till 12 mid night on 16 September, candidates with methodologies Physical sciences, Mathematics and English can exercise their options.
From 19 September to 21 September, candidates with methodology Biological science can exercise their options.
From 23 September to 25 September candidates with methodology Social science can exercise their options.

For candidates who exercised options through web, the allotment orders for PS/Maths/Eng will be displayed on 18 September, Bio on 23 September and Social on 25 September on the same website edcet.apsche.ac.in
The candidates should report to the allotted colleges before 5 October.
