The second phase web counselling of EAMCET will commence from September 13 till 18 (see update below), the detailed notification for which will be announced shortly.
The seat allotment results of first counselling will be announced today by 6pm. For Students who have registered their mobile numbers during the web counselling process, the allotment results will be sent to their mobile numbers as SMS. Those who did not register their mobile number can check the results online at apeamcet.nic.in
Unfortunately, if you have not been allotted any seat, you can appear for the second phase counselling that’ll start on September 13.
Also students who are not happy with their allotted seat can also take part in the second counselling.
Students who are happy with their seat should not take part in second counselling, doing which they agree that they are ready to cancel the seat allotted in the first counselling. Also remember that second counselling is totally a fresh counselling and the options exercised during the first counselling will not hold true for second counselling.
For students who want to cancel their admission totally for reason like getting a seat in another state may seek their original certificates be returned during the second phase.
Update: The second phase of EAMCET web counselling will commence from September 16 till September 23rd.
There are total of 11280 seats vacant after the first counselling.
Schedule:
Ranks 1- 50000, Options exercising on 16th and 17th.
Ranks 50001 to 100000, Options exercising on 18th and 19th.
Ranks 100001 to 160000, Options exercising on 20th and 21st.
Ranks 160001 to last on 22nd and 23rd.
Candidates who wish to change their options after the options are frozen have to visit any of the helpcenters on 24th.

ok in the notification given on the webpage apeamcet.nic there it is written that the potions exercised for the 1st phase will not be used for final phase…..so does that mean that the colls we chose for first phase cant be chosen by us for second phase counselling?????????????? because thats just not fair at all.
It doesn’t mean that. You can very well choose some all of the colleges that you opted for in the first phase. But that to me doesn’t make much sense. When you didn’t get a seat in a college in first phase the probability of getting a seat in the same college in second phase is even lower.
What is the probability? I guess you have studied that just a while back?

How can we believe u.u replied to one comment that,we will lose our seat which we got in 1st counselling although we didn’t get seat in 2nd counselling.But when I enquired in a help line center,they told me that we will have our seat [1st counselling seat] as I submitted joining report in college.if we didn’t get seat in 2nd counselling.
I still stick to what I said. You’ll loose your seat when you appear for second counselling and get a seat.

You need not pay any fee.

I always keep saying one thing, put college in front of the Group (stream). It doesn’t make a big difference whether its IT or CSE until you are from a Reputed college.
I can suggest you two ways,
1.If you seriously want to join CSE with the aim of doing further studies like MS,Ph.D etc, go for second counselling (but remember that a better seat may not be a guarantee).
2.If you look to get into a job soon after your Engineering, join the college in which you were allotted a seat. Reputed colleges obviously attract more companies than useless colleges and these days, branch is independent for companies who come for campus recruitment as they allow all branch students to participate.
Even if you didn’t get through the campus offers, you will have the advantage of being from a renowned campus.

Fees need not be paid(if you don’t want to join the first phase alloted seat at all) if you wish to appear for second phase counselling. But do remember that your first phase seat will be forfeited when you get a seat in second phase counselling.
To be on the safe side, you can join the college in which you’re alloted a seat and then appear for 2nd counselling.

No separate registration is required if you already got your certificates verified during the first counselling. You can straight away participate in the web counselling according to your rank between sep 13 and 18th

There are 4160 Engineering seats and 2590 pharmacy seats under MPC quota left for the second counselling. Also there are 22 new Engineering colleges whose names and seat details will be listed on the website soon.
i’ve got seat abt 200 kms 4m my home. i don’t wanna join in a hostel for 4 years. i can’t even do up and down daily. though the col i’ve got is reputed but i’ve got the seat in mech. so i’m confused abt participatin in 2nd councilling. even if i participate in it i’ve a fear that i would loose my 1st seat. as well as there r less chances of gettin a better seat as i’ve come 2 know that there r only 4000 seats left and 2000 students who have not received allotments yet……. WILL THE 2ND ALLOTMENT I GET B MORE FAV 4 ME THAN THE 1ST ONE????????? DO REPLY.
I’d suggest sticking with the first counselling alloted seat since you’ve said that its s reputed college. It’ll be a wiser decision to choose a reputed institution even though it is far away from your home than to chose a useless college next street.
200kms is very long for daily travel so Hostel is the only way besides temporarily shifting your house to somewhere near your colleges. I’ve seen so many students and parents do that.
Sacrifice is the name of Life. Hope you understand.
