The results of the 2009 Engineering Agriculture and Medicine common entrance test is schedule to be released on 1^st of June provided that there are no more errors identified in the second key. As it is observed, there are nearly 60 odd errors in the first EAMCET key leaving students bemused. If you haven’t yet seen the key released by the EAMCET board, you can have a look at them here. It is to be noted that only marks will be announced but not the actual ranks that you may get. Since the Intermediate supplementary results are yet to come, the EAMCET ranks will only be  announced later in June (Probably on June 21st) when Inter marks are finalized.

EAMCET is the Stand alone Entrance test in Andhra Pradesh to get admissions into premier institutions in the State including the prestigious universities like Osmania, JNTU Hyderabad and the Andhra University Vizag.

However, from this year there is a new ranking criterion to list the students in merit order. There is a 25% weightage being given to the group subject of the Student in their Intermediate viz Maths/Biology, Physics and Chemistry besides the existing qualifying marks of 40/160 to get a rank (except for SC/ST candidates)

The results can be obtained from the Official EAMCET Website or from the JNTU website.

You can also get results by email by visiting Sify’s exam result page and registering with your Hall ticket number and selecting EAMCET from the drop down menu. If you don’t have a Sify ID, you can create then and there.

If you wish to get your results by an SMS, you can do so by visiting Rediff’s exam result SMS service page.

You can also get results as an SMS by typing EAMCET <space> your roll no. and send it to 54999,57333, 54242, 54545, 55555 from any phone except BSNL. Bsnl users can send an SMS in the same format as above to 56666, 56505, 55352.

You can also call 5054242, 5052828, 1255510, 540406 from any network and enter your roll number to get the results.

Note: For the above  methods, premium SMS rates apply.

It is better to know all these sites as many sites will be down on the results day due to heavy surge of traffic (hits) at once.
