New:Discovery Turbo channel in India

I was watching the show ‘Man Vs Wild’ the other day and in between I saw an Ad that Discovery launched a new channel called Discover Turbo. Being a race freak, I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw that initially. A channel that is dedicated to only motors and racing? Gimme a gap, what more do I need to convince my self to bunk my office and stay at home :)

But soon, that frenzy dampened as Tata Sky was flashing its Logo all over the TV saying Discovery Turbo is exclusively available on Tata Sky :(

Good news is that Discovery Turbo may, in 2-3 months, be opened to normal cable operators too. Now that’s what I want.

When that comes true, apart from the Discovery’s special researches on cars and bikes I’d also like to see some live action. If Discovery networks can some how work with FIA and telecast the live F1 Races; that would be awesome.

I have Star sports in my channel list but I’m not sure my cable operator likes F1 as much as I do. You saw that Reliance Big TV Ad? That person in the Ad was ‘exclusively’ talking about my cable operator who takes out Star sports that features Live F1 and plays a year old India Bangladesh cricket match, Gosh..
