While some users reported that Maa TV no longer comes to their cable TV in parts of Andhra Pradesh, other users said that it shifted to a higher channel number where the least priority channels are places, often with low quality signals. If that’s the case with your cable service, it’s time to move on. You can either choose from DTH services (Videocon D2H for example) or choose the STB of your local cable way (see Hathway STB for more information).
Digi Cable STB price and tariff
Digi Cable is another Cable TV service provider who offers services in traditional Cable wire mode and through a Trendy Set Top Box (STB) mode that delivers channels in Digital Quality. While the list of channels in DigiCable (STB) isn’t as lengthy as Hathway’s, it certainly has Maa TV, if you really can’t miss the daily soaps or the Super Hit movies that are scheduled in this summer.
You can purchase the STB at a one time price of Rs.3000 or on a rental basis of Rs.30 per month but with a refundable deposit of Rs.999.
There are around 80 Free to air channels out there which are priced together at Rs.77 (plus taxes). If you need any other channel, you can select them individually and pay for it (maximum charge of Rs.5 per channel will be levied). Or you can choose from a package of 60 Pay channels for Rs.190 per month.
