Just a few months ago we had a look at Beam Fibre’s 6 Mbps plans and said that their tariff plans are the best in the Industry. Now guess what, their plans have become even tempting for anyone to just give it a try. Crazy plans at Crazy speeds, is what they call them.
To just give you an example, a 10Mbps Unlimited plan will just cost you Rs.1000 per month. Yeah, that’s right, a 10 Mbps, super crazy fast plan will cost you just as much as a 2 Mbps plan offered by others. This Rs.1000 is inclusive of all applicable taxes.
Now just to compare with an Airtel Broadband plan in Hyderabad, the Rs.899 unlimited plan, when billed, comes to Rs.990 per month including all the taxes. This plan gives users 1Mbps speed up to 10GB and then 256Kbps from there on.
We’re not sure what the fair usage limit is in case of Beam fibre, but even if it’s the same as Airtel’s 10 GB, the difference of 1Mbps and 10 Mbps is so huge that any one would simply subscribe to it.
And if you like to pay once for all, you can get it for a discount too. If you pay a years’ charges at once, you’ll only be billed Rs.10000, that’s Rs.2000 in savings.
There are other crazy unlimited plans as well to get you going:
Rs.850 per month, 2 Mbps
Rs.1500 per month, 15 Mbps and
Rs.2500 per month, 20 Mbps
For us, these are never heard of tariffs in the Broadband industry. But the only thing stopping us from subscribing is the ‘reliability’ issue. If any one’s thinking of opting for these plans, we’d recommend to try it out for a month or two and see if you experience any issues or not.
