Andhra bank Mobile banking Application

If you are customer of Andhra Bank and want to perform your daily banking operations from your mobile, here is how you do it. As a pre-requisite, you should have an Andhra Bank ATM or Debit card and a Java enabled mobile phone with GPRS feature (most phones have these by default).

As the first step, you should register your Mobile number for Mobile Banking by visiting any Andhra Bank ATM. Insert your card and select ‘Services’. Enter your ATM PIN and then select ‘Mobile Banking’. Then you’ll be asked to accept Andhra Bank Mobile Banking Terms and enter your mobile number twice. Once done, you will given a receipt containing ‘Mpin’ (which is the password required for making transactions through mobile) and Application password (required to open the Mobile Banking application, that will be installed in the next step).

You should have immediately received an SMS with a link to the Mobile banking application. Simply follow the link, download the app and install it. Once installed, you should open the application using the application password. You will immediately be asked to change the Application password, which you must do to continue further. You will be asked to choose between GPRS and SMS, out of which GPRS is the preferred method of using Mobile Banking. Once you are into the application, you will also need to change Mpin to do transactions.

Through Andhra Banking mobile banking you can do various things like checking balance, see statements, do mobile recharge, transfer funds, book tickets etc.
