AIEEE 2009 online counselling notification, important dates and procedure
AIEEE 2009 exam results have been declared and then next step in the process to get admission into a college will be the counselling session. The counselling for AIEEE 2009 is ONLINE where the candidate has to select his choices of institutes ONLINE through the Central counselling board website.
However, not all students will be allowed to participate in the ONLINE counselling. The central counseling board has given a yardstick mark which needs to be crossed to appear for online counselling. The marks (Total) are 100 for General category, 78 marks for OBC category and 44 marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.
Counselling process
All the counselling will take place on the CCB website. From June 8th Onwards, students who are eligible need to register on the above website and must select their choice of colleges which they must finalize and lock by June 28th 11.55 PM. From July 1st the candidates must visit one the designated admission centers to get all his certificates verified and also finalize his college and get the provisional admission allotment letter.

As u knw, now there is a huge economic slump in the world and this is affecting the engineering job in CSE and IT….So is it better to go for ECE instead? or do u think we should go for CSE if we are more interested in it? How are the placements in CSE and IT,especially in mediocre NITs? Please help!

Looks very tough to get a seat in any college. I won’t recommend wasting an year in trying to prepare again for AIEEE unless you are sure of making a huge improvement in your rank. But what I recommend is to concentrate on other competitive exams.
