Sakshi TV and ETV2
You can pretty well guess why I put both these in the same group.
It’s quite obvious for a person who is great supporter of (say) Congress, that he looks into every move made by TDP in a negative way (and vice versa). But for a person like me who isn’t attracted to either of the parties (in the state), I strongly feel that Sakshi TV is more biased towards its founders party that ETV2.
If there is any news (even smallest) related to YSR’s family, it becomes Big news for Sakshi. Even if there is a slightest chance to humiliate the opposition, they’ll do it. And 90% of all their Digi toons (cartoons on TV, for comedy) will be on Opposition leader or his party.
And if any Congress leader turns against the YSR family, they come under the target of Sakshi.
Inspite of having extraordinary liquidity and latest technology, its viewership since its launch is pretty low for reasons that any body can guess.
ETV2 on the other hand, unlike its paper version, stands fairly neutral (not completely though) and gaining steady ratings month by month. The debates conducted by ETV2, although not as attractive and enthusing as other channels, are pretty informative.
i News
The only channel that has the guts to term other channels that are affiliated to political parties as ‘tottu channels’ and the only channel that I really admire whole heartedly. Unlike other channels, it really has very limited resources but it functions exceedingly well with in its limitations. Programs such as Pincounter are very popular amongst the audience. It’s sad that it’s no longer being produced.
If any one is reading this from i News, I request you to continue the same approach even in future presenting unbiased news.
Apart from these 6 news channels, there are other channels (albeit very new) like Zee 24 ghantalu, ABN Andhra Jyothi, Maha News, Studio N, HMTV and very recently Raj News.
Raj News has only emerged for the T Cause while Zee 24 ghantalu, that started promisingly but lost its way (I guess) when it shifted towards the T cause (No offence in that, but being a news channel I feel, one should be unbiased).
HMTV is a good news channel that I am increasingly watching these days. Nothing negative about it till now.
Studio N, although didn’t have good viewership at any point of time, used to present some ‘useful’ news before. But after a recent incident (read as the engagement between a film star and daughter of the channel head), one can clearly see the shift in their ideology.
One thing that’s common across all channels that I really hate is the way they conduct some useless debates. Bring one tech guy and one Astrologer and start a debate. Bring one Mahesh babu fan and one Jr.NTR fan and start a debate, sigh.

Hahaha… ETV2 on the other hand, unlike its paper version, stands fairly neutral (not completely though) — IS THIS 100%?? What a analysis?. If any paper or TV in AP which is at people side is that is Sakshi.. The only sakshi is fighting for people…. not at all EENADU…….
Nowadays, I feel Ntv is acquired by Sakshi tv. At times I see Sakshi tv visuals (with sakshi logo) in Ntv. Particularly, when their is breaking news related to Sakhi owners. Moreover, it provides minute-minute update on new young leader. Literally, Ntv provides news such as ‘new young leader xyz started from his house’. ‘xyz reached 24th mile’. etc,.
If you closely observe, you can easily make out Ntv and sakshi links. Sakshi provides top 10 news per district. Nowadays even Ntv follows the same pattern.
But, Ntv strategically tries to prove that it is not biased by highlighting other parties at times (just to confuse the viewer, who is the verge of sensing that Ntv is lnked to Sakshi.)
I am not sure, but some little birdie told that Reddy brothers have purchased stake in Ntv. This is to support Sakshi/xyz in the same lines as Etv and Andhrajyothi few years back.
HMTV is very good these days with
programs like comeon India..INEWS is also good…
of-course Sakshi tv is actually Jagan’s propaganda TV shoddy from day one….
it a epitome of a corrupt family and how they can use the ill-gotten money to shake and tamper with the very 4th estate of democracy which is the Free and Fair Journalism..
shamefully only thing we ca do is to boycott that shitty channel …

Sakshi is the worst channel ever. It has money and it can do any thing, which is sad but true.

If there is any news in favour of Obulapuram mines from supreme court, it puts it in front page and writes ‘Kangutinna Chandra babu’. why does it support OB mines is known to all, there is that reddy-reddy relation.
even national media is against that illegal mining but only sakshi doesn’t write anything against those mining.
In India all the mines which has taken by the Big steel compnies is the same like obulapuram mines.
And one thing what the govt should do is thhey should bring an act to protect the lands and natural resources of the company.
Bcoz all the business people who r no 1 in india and politicians turned as business people r eating the money of people by taking the loop holes in the govt
