Tata Photon PRO wired Broadband tariff plans

If you use Tata Photon plus for your wireless Internet needs, here is another product from the same brand, but in the wired Broadband category. Generally, unlike wireless broadband service, replacing a wired broadband is really tedious. Like if you already have a broadband service, say BSNL or Airtel, in order to look for another broadband service, you’ll need to take a landline phone of the new provider. If you already used your previous landline for a while, that number might have already reached far end of the world. I case if you chose to retain your previous landline, by just cancelling the broadband plan, the cost of maintaining the old landline plus the new phone and Broadband becomes an issue.

Tata Photon Pro tariff plans (Unlimited)

But if you really need terrific speeds or unlimited usage at low price and at decent speed, Tata Photon Pro could just worth that replacement.

The Unlimited plan starts from Rs.799/month with 300kbps speed (You also get Rs.50 free calling value each month from your landline)

Add a little more speed to it to 512kbps and you have the Rs.899 unlimited plan with Rs.100 free calling value. But there’s a caveat here that only the first 10GB will be at 512 GB and the rest will be served at 256kbps.

Compare this with Airtel’s unlimited plan at 512kbps which costs Rs.1149/month.

If speed is your way to live, then Rs.1499/month is the plan you need that gives 1mbps speed. Caveat is that the speed will be reduced to 600bkps beyond 10GB and further to 300kbps beyond 20GB.

Photon Pro Download based plans tariff

If you do not need unlimited offers, the volume based plans are the way to go, where speed rules all the way.

The basic plan starts at Rs.549/month at 512kbps that gives 3GB of free data.

Rs.749 plan gives 4GB of free data at 2mbps

Rs.999 plan gives 5GB of free data at 4mbps

Need 18mbps speed? Then shed out Rs.8999 each month and get 100GB of data.

As an initial launch offer, all the starting charges like Security deposit, Installation charges and landline registration charges are completely waived.

All in all, the plans definitely look cheaper that Airtel for the same speed and download data but I’m not sure the service of Tata is as good as Airtel.
