You might have already heard, TRS President K Chandra Sekhar Rao speaking on various occasion that Telangana people will get their News Paper soon. Well, it looks like the time has indeed arrived. After launching a TV channel in the name of ‘Raj News’, the stage is all set for the launch of Telangana Daily by the name ‘Namaste Telangana’.
The CEO of Namaste Telangana, Sekhar Reddy, said that the people of Telangana till now read the news from Andhra media’s POV, but with the launch of Namaste Telangana’, we’ll read news from Telangana point of view. The paper will display rich culture and Heritage of Telangana besides educating people on the necessity of a separate state and giving daily schedule of TRS party and its Agitations.
When Raj News was launched, many thought that it became an additional burden to the TRS party since it wasn’t successful in its cause. But, since the Telangana Bi-elections, it looked like fate has turned on its head and Raj News was at the focal point on the results day. From them, it consistently ranked well in Telangana region. One has to wait and see how Namaste Telangana fairs in print media war.
Update: After a long wait, Namaste Telangana is launching today (6 June) in Hyderabad.

Of course it is KCR’s paper. Ramoji Rao earns money from Eenadu, YS Jagan earns money from Sakshi, RK earns money from Andhra Jyothi and similarly KCR will now earn money from this news paper. What each of these news papers report is a different issue.

This news paper also will not succeed like raj news electronic channel; because these news media do not have agenda other than Telangana formation. That duty TRS is doing very well. Who ever does any thing, the T state formation is an issue interlaced with all the three regions people. That is why the concurrence of all the people is very much required. If one has no patience to consider this point, I am afraid it will prolong and prolong, till the EKABHIPRAYAM evolves. So all the wise people all the regions have coolly sit together debate on the concerns in the way of separation and try to resolve them in a give and take attitude, but not by champuta, narukuta, andhrawala bhago, andhravollu tinestunnaaru etc. etc. Definitely consensus needs to be evolved, i am confidant there is no way other.
