by Varun on September 7, 2010

Now that the 2010 Bihar Assembly election notice has been released, here is the information that may be useful to you, if you are a resident of Bihar.

As per the final electoral rolls, there are 5,50,88,402 recognized voters in the state.

There are 243 constituencies for which the polling will be conducted in 6 phases.

The date of first phase of polling is on 21 October where polling will be conducted in 47 constituencies from 7am to 5pm.

Second phase on 24 October in 45 constituencies from 7am to 5pm

Third Phase on 28 October in 48 constituencies from 7am to 5pm

Fourth Phase on 1 November in 42 constituencies from 7am to 5pm

Fifth Phase on 9 November in 35 constituencies from 7am to 5pm

Sixth Phase on 20 November in the remaining 26 constituencies from 7 am to 5 pm.

Note: In some constituencies, polling is only conducted till 3pm.

Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPIC)

Those who already have an electoral photo identity card must compulsorily use the same card during polling. Those who do not have EPIC but have their names listed in the electoral rolls can use other Government issued photo ID cards for verification. More detailed information on the list of such acceptable ID cards will be informed by the EC during polling time.

It was a great show in Bihar by JDU collabration In leader ship of Honable Chief minister Nitish kumar in Lok sabha poll .
It was only the trailer which was shown by people of BIhar with the Dream of progressive BIhar in their Eye which led By Nitish kumar . Its my personal view forgot about all religon customs and money game come forward and vote for progress of BIhar that made proud to every person who belongs to BIhar and make Fell Proud when Say I am from Bihar.
