No matter how many questions you ask regarding Paypal withdrawal, something will still remain to be asked until you make your first withdrawal.
In an attempt to settle this once and for, I’ll list all the Indian banks that support withdrawal of money from Paypal.
State Bank of India
Bank of India
Canara Bank
Union bank of India
HDFC Bank
ICICI Bank
ING Vysya bank
AXIS bank (formerly UTI bank)
Standard chartered bank
HSBC
Citibank
Note that you can only withdraw money if you have an account in any of the above banks at this moment. You’d also need to know your bank branches’ IFSC code to withdraw the money.
Alternatively, you can also withdraw money to your credit or debit card or request a cheque from Paypal.
While most of the credit cards from the above banks support Paypal transactions (but contact your card issuer before withdrawing to know your cards cash limits as different credits cards have different cash limits), it is not the case with the debit cards.
Although the Debit cards have a Visa or Master Card logo on them, for some reasons you may not be able to link it to your paypal account(withdrawal to debit card is the same as withdrawing to the concerned bank account). For example, if you have a International debit card of Axis bank, you will not be able to link your debit card with your paypal account to lift your limits (but you can withdraw money to your bank account using the branches’ IFSC code with in your withdrawal limits each month).
And regarding cheques, Paypal will issue the cheques in the name of the account holder in Indian Rupees which can be cashed instantly. The cheques will be sent through normal postal delivery.
