Axis bank savings and current account

Here are all possible ways to check your Axis bank account balance (current or savings or any special account):

Use axis bank iConnect

iConnect is the Axis bank Internet banking site. Just visit www.axisbank.com and find the Net banking link on the left side. Click on logon and you’ll be taken to the iConnect site where you can log in to your Internet banking account and check your account balance. If you don’t have a Internet banking account, you can find the application form at the bottom of the same page (iConnect log in page), which you have to download, fill it with required details and submit it in your Axis bank branch.

Use your Axis bank debit card

If you have a Axis bank debit card along with your bank account, you can use the Debit card at any of the ATM’s and find the account balance. You can also request mini statement that lists all your latest transactions.

Subscribe for SMS alerts

By subscribing for Axis bank mobile SMS alerts for a fee of Rs.150 per year (free for first 60 days with any new account opened) for free (since August 2010), you will get instant SMS alerts with account balance as soon as a transaction occurs in your account. Apart from that you can also know your account balance at any time by simply sending an SMS as BAL<space>Your A/C number to either 5676782 or 9717000002 to get your balance or type MINI<space> You’re A/C number and send it to any of the above numbers to get the last three transaction details.

Note that standard SMS charges will apply and the request will only be processed if it is received from a registered mobile number.

If you have not registered for Mobile Banking, you can do so by simple visiting any Axis bank ATM and registering for Mobile Banking, present in the Services section. You can also do it from the Axis bank iConnect site.
