Low cost, high speed Broadband plans from BSNL

With BSNL Broadband, you are sure of getting high speed Broadband experience at a price which is always less than any other service provider. But the main backlog in using BSNL is the support team. If you don’t have any problem with the service then you’ll think ‘BSNL is the best and there’s no better alternative to it’. But it all starts when you run into some issue. Now you are left with an age old complaint registration process which you have to go through, which will eventually (if everything goes alright that is) end up in having a service personnel landing in your home after few days. If you’re lucky enough, the problem might be solved then and there or else, you have to wait till eternity. Not to forget the long process to change BSNL Broadband plans which needs a visit to the customer care office and produce a written letter.

This is what, for a person like me who constantly needs internet access, made me move to Airtel. Fine, the tariff of Airtel is higher than BSNL, but if I run into a problem, I can rest assure that it’ll be solved with in few hours (not days like in BSNL).

In case you just need Internet to access few mails now and then and do some browsing occasionally, BSNL best fits your needs. But caution, take the advice of any person who is currently using the service of BSNL in your area.

It has a wide range of plans to suit every one’s needs.

Starting from a mere Rs.125 plan that gives 150MB of free download at 256kbps – 2mbps speed to Rs.3300 plan that gives 20GB of free download at 2mbps.

If you need combo plans (no FMC for your BSNL landline), the best plan is the 500C plan which has a speed of 256kbps – 2 mbps, free usage of 1.5GB per month and unlimited free usage at night (2AM to 8AM) and gives 175 free calls in your landline.

If you need Unlimited free usage (remember the caution), you can choose the Rs.750 plan that streams at a minimum of 256kbps.

You can find more about BSNL Broadband plans here or at www.bsnl.co.in/broadbandplans.htm

If you need wireless Broadband/Internet experience, you may also choose the BSNL NIC data cards.
