If you are a frequent user of Internet you might have surely observed an “Advani for PM” advertisement while browsing in the recent past. This is a specifically designed election campaign to attract the netizens towards BJP (or at least have a look at LK Advani’s official website and know more about him and BJP).
The complete advertisement reads something like this “Secure and prosperous India? It’s possible. Advani for PM”.
When I visited the blog it really looked like it was written by Advani as I listen to his speeches carefully. Though the blog is not updated frequently, it gives Advani’s opinions on various things in India and emphasizes mainly on BJP ruling states like Gujarat which is understandable.
Advani as we all know is an active user of the Internet who started his official website last year. He became more active when he launched his official blog in the same domain.
Pradyut Bora, the national IT convener for BJP says that this online campaign is being promoted using the services of famous websites like ‘the newyork times’, ‘the nation’, ‘guardian online’ and many other websites which looked good to serve the campaign.
People say ‘if not for the internet and the online social communities, Barack Obama would not have been the President of United States of America.’
Will the same statement apply for Advani after the general elections?

I wish to see Shri Lal Krushna Advani to be in the P.M’s seat. I strongly encourage him to be so as he is one among the greatest politicians who do not only play past and loose but do a lot for our nation’s improvement..I also support the N.D.A particularly Bharitiya Janata party as They can Replenish all our crisis in every sector during their reign India will develop by leaps and bounds. They will work their best not to allow any sort of corruption and terrorism to bug all over and to be a fly in the ointment of our progress. I strongly support shri L.K Advani to become the next P.M of India.We want a strong P.M like M.R Advanijee. We are fed up with a puppet prime minister..We want the decisions of the P.M should come from the 7 race course road and not from10 Janpath via 7 race course road. Whosoever becomes the PM or whichever party comes to the power has not much significance in today’s scenario. They do the same things when come to the Power what they have been opposing while in opposition.Corruption is the main issue behind all the problems. If Adwani ji can fight to curb corruption I can be in his favour but I think corruption is almost the same in the BJP ruled states.This is a different thing that people vote for a change just to give chance to another party or coalition to take full advantage of corrupt practices.
India is a democratic country. If our Netas use “online social communities”, then there is no -ve on it. Whether it’s BJP or other national party their motive should be to give best to us, then their online campaign will be successful, otherwise it will just an “AD”.
I certainly do want BJP to come into power but if another waste party SP joins BJP then that may happen
