The campaigning for the first phase of elections has been concluded in Andhra Pradesh. The first phase of polling will take place on 16th of April from 7Am to 4Pm. The second phase of polling will take place on 23rd April 2009.
If anyone who still didn’t get their voter ID card can use other ID proofs such as Ration cards, passport, driving license, electricity bills etc only if their name exists in the electoral role.
To check whether a name exists in the electoral roll, please use this website http://ceo.ap.gov.in/
The names are still being uploaded and if you didn’t find your name today you can try on 15th April, the last day before polls.
If your name doesn’t exist, you can make a vote this time.
And if you received your voter ID card and want to find the polling booth allocated, you can use this website http://pollingbooth.in/

You can also SMS HNO <Your house number> to 56677
A reply would come with your polling booth address very soon should your name be in the electoral list.

i hav applied 2times( b4 ap elections n now at telangana which r going 2 held on off urban elections ) vth all id proofs ( ssc memo, house id proof etc.,) but still i dint get my voter id card by 19 july 2010. even no one is giving a clear information in MRO office at nizamabad, wats the hell is going in govt. offices. atleast an information should b provided in mro office wats goin on. last elections when we applied the govt. pourd out all voter cards some where in other streets even we dint hav a clear information abt that. even we dnt know who is issuieng the voter id cards at present. plz i request 2 tak a serious action on dis.
