Sreeram Chandra Mynampati hails from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh and is one of the participants in the on going Indian Idol 5 season. He is often seen as the leading participant to win the Indian Idol title following his consistent performances. Not on one occasion did judges find any problem with his singing (except on one occasion when Sunidhi ‘advised’ him to sing with more feel). His last few performances, the breathless song, followed by Aaja Aaja and then very recently Kwaja mere Kwaja were mind blowing that Anu Malik confirms him as his Indian Idol and that all the music directors in the Film Industry would be proud to work with him in future.
During the beginning of the show, he was tagged as ‘Dakshin ka Dhamaka’ and was later changed to ‘India ka asli Dhamaka’. He can speak and sing fluently in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and English. As like many other contestants present in the show, Sreeram also appeared in similar reality shows, albeit one at the regional level in the state of Andhra Pradesh (Okkare in ETV) and one at National level in Star Plus’ Voice of India. He also did playback singing for few Telugu movies, one noticeable one being the hit flick ‘Ashta Chamma’. Not satisfied with his career he wanted to present his talent before the entire nation and is being acclaimed by every single person who is watching the Indian Idol show at present.

I have been watching many music reality shows in several languages(mostly in Hindi- all channels). There have been some very good finds but none who is ready for consistent playback singing as you are. Sometimes music directors try out such new faces but almost all of them (exception Shreya Ghshal) fade away soon. I do hope with all sensible Indians rooting and voting for you, You will become Indian Idol5. But it still is by chance
What I wish is that you should become a regular playback singer in Hindi films like Shreya and you have it in you for such achievement. Please work hard and keep this as the target, not merely becoming Indian Idol5
