IFB customer care & Privileges program

IFB Privileges Program

With nearly 1.5 million IFB customers, IFB has announced its privileges program to reward their loyal customers. As like any other privileges program, you earn points when ever you buy an IFB products or services like Extended warranty, AMC, Accessories etc. When you make any of the above purchases, 2% of the price will be awarded as your privilege points. Each point is equal to Re.1 which when accumulated till a level can be redeemed against new IFB products or services, Non-IFB products, Gift certificates.

  1. I have purchased IFB Washing Machine Model No.6501 T/Loading on 28.04.2012 at IFB, Tarband, Secunderabad in the name of my father Mr. L.V. Rao, it was installed with Demo on 05.05.2012 (on 7th day), I have purchased IFB Stabilizer, which is having some problem (a screw was unscrew inside), I have given Four complaints and explained my problem. No body has attended till date and till date the machine was not used (19 days). I have informed over phone to IFB Service Centre in Hyderabad they are not bothered, I have even informed that I will lodge a complaint to main office in Calcutta – still not bothered – kindly instruct the official concerned to attend the grievance.

  2. One technician attended my washing machine (Executive elite model)
    On 13.12.2011. And advised me that the drum of washing m/c to be replaced with new one
    and hence pay the amount of Rs.2191/-for One year AMC offer.

    And, he given me one Invoice-cum-recepit dtd 13.12.2011 (scan copy attached). Afterwards, till date nobody’s attended the
    Machine to rectify the defects.

    Kindly look into this matter pls.

  3. This is Saranya writing you this mail regarding the Customer service provided by you..
    Recently we purchased an IFB Front loader Washing Machine.We called the Service Guy to come and show us the demo and about the connection details etc…
    The Moment the service guy(“Name: Raghavendra and his Mob No :8095711608″) came home., Immed he said he has got only 10 minutes provided by you to each customer and if the work is done or not he should move to the next customer.he is in a hurry to go and not ready to explain in a polite manner.
    We were totally Shocked by seeing his Attitude towards the customer… and his Words were totally Ir -respectful and Worse to deal with. and he is challenging us that how we would take the Warranty for the machine let me see.
    Is this a way you people give Respect to the Customers..What kind of service are you providing for us.
    When taking the machine which is so costly and took for the brand and at last repenting now for taken because of the Customer service provided by you.
    IF we would have knew about this before we would have not purchased the Washing Machine of IFB itself.
    We are about to complain this kind of irrational behavior to the higher end immed.

  4. I am going through the same problems as others with my IFB washing machine.The AMC is a organized swindle. I will have no option but to go to consumer court. Advice- Avoid IFB like plague. As there is no way of contacting the Head Office looks like it is a planned swindle.

We brought the Ifb washing machine after lots of consideration, it is only two months old we might be used mostly 23 times it is start giving the problem when we called the customer care they said that the technician will be 24hrs but no one showed up so for and also when the technician is called up he said that he will be their the next day but no one showed up to look after the machine very bad service

  6. i have purchased 20pg2s model microwave at tambaram. dt.4.7.09 and i also extended the warranty period upto 09.07.2012. i got the problem in the microwave and complained to the customer care and get the complained no.5673883 and the person came and took some parts for rectification. but now a day itself they cannot return the part and rectify the machine and i complained another time to the customer care and get the complained no.5941196 dt.22.2.11 there is no response to my complaint. so.please make a favour for me and do the necessary action for my complaint. thanking you

  7. I have bought a washing machine but i am sorry to say that the service is very very bad. I think even the ” BAD ” word is not enough the explain it. The worst is the service of IFB. I recomand not to even consider their product.

  8. kindly refer to my complaint No. 544234 dated 16.11.2010 and repeated calls hence onwards regarding repair of IFB Microwave oven. Till Now no one has come to rectify the error inspite of assurance given by customer care that they are sending technician today or tommorro. it seems that a reputed brand like IFB is not operating customer care.

  9. As I was happy & previllage to buy such a No 1 brand IFB washing machine. after purchasing I feel very bad about their service. Last one month I have been waiting to clear my machine problem. The service executives are very bad, they have no loyal to thier responseblity. Being lawer I will take this issue to the consumer court at any time. Please don’t think that cutomers are fool. Hence I request you to enhance your quality of serice.

I had IFB washing machine.AND i also have annual Maintenance Contract from 26.02.2010 -25.02.2011.After contract my washing machine my machine had abnormal sound.They are rectify it.But after one month it had also problem Informed what problem it had. My complaint date is 11.10.2010 and complaint no is 5253722. Still now there is no responsible.Please attend the machine and salve the problem immediately.If you are going delay i will go through leagal.

    I purchased a IFB washing machine in oct 2009 and was very very happy to get India No.1 brand at home, for me it was a dream come true. But after a year that is in sept it started giving problem so we lodged a complaint on 28/09/10 but the companies technician have not turned back till date. My warranty will expire next month so who is going to give me my 20 days back? You give big assurances of satisfying billion number of customers this is the satisfaction you give your customers??? I had never expected this from such a reputed company and i am even ashamed to tell someone that my No.1 washing machine is giving problem because i was proud enough when i had purchased it. So i would request you to please look into the matter and try to satify your customers and maintain the rerputation.

      Its unfortunate to read about IFB.
      I am not trying to glorify the company or their products (IFB). I am the customer of IFB Senorita which I purchased in May 2001. Its my previlege to tell you since then, barring once the machine has been an absolute beauty. We have been using the machine since then and have found no problems at all. Once we got it serviced. Yes, had issues to get them to rectify. all I did was sat in their service centre and took the service engineer along with all the material and ensured that he replaced the drum (this was due to the back end of the drum was worn out and couldnot be rectified due to wear and tear).
      Else the machine has been perfect product at home and never felt anything wrong with the machine.

      Do get into their office and pull the guys to get it repaired.

This is third time I am facing the same problem on my IFB washing machine and the complaint number is 5122191 the guy by name raghu had come t my place and said some part of the machine is malfunctioning and he would have to change it and after that he has disappeared he told us he would get back to us on 20-09-2010 but he has’nt turned up since then neither are we able to dial up the customer care because even after repeated calling no one bothers to pick the customer care number or they have the data base which has our phone numbers stored in it and they block those numbers.

    If this query is unanswered I am planning to go through legal process.

    Customer ID 82891, AMC money paid by cheque No. 025930 for Rs.3371.00 realized on 25/07/2010. In Jan 2010 I made compalint to attend, whereas your technician not visited on my requested time i.e. around 18:00 hrs in the evening. He visited to my residence when I was at office. Ultimately the problem is not solved. My ELINA machine is giving more vibration while doing washing. Due to water problem past 3 – 4 months I could not abot use the machine. When I loged compliant today, your branch office at Ghaziabad (Tel 2854791 / 2833214 Mr. Babi Saini) informed me that my AMC is expired on 12/07/10 as I issued the cheque on that date. Please note in the internet your terms conditions mentioned ‘ AMC starts from the cheque realised from the bank’ your Mr. Saini is not agreeing this. I will lodge a compalint with CONSUMER COURT. This is totally unjustified. CALL ME AND SOLVE MY PROBLEM.

    I have lodged a compalint more than 10 times in the passt three months in chennai office. Every time the message reached the Trichy office. And every time no work was done.
    My customer no is 25 73001. I am in AMC, The latest complaint no is 4575916. The message has reached the Trichy office. The trichy office no 4010992. I rang up to them. They said that they would positively do the work on 30.05.2010. No one turnewd up. A lot of my precious time is wasted.

    Please instruct them to do it at once. Ask them to fix a time with me and see that they abide by it. I am sorry to say I am being fooled. My number is 9894017744, landline 2410766. Pleae call me and do something to assuage my hurt feelings.

    I had purchased a IFB washing machine from M/S Shetye Sales Mapasa Goa on 08/04/2010
    and it was delivered on same day and i had requested for a installation & demo

    On 9/04/2010 a service eng had visited at our resident at 4 pm and he had checked the water pressure and informed that he will visit on monday but he had not installed the machine how can he say that the pressure is low without installation of machine

    1 . And what he will do on monday if the water pressure is low ?
    2 . Why it is taking so much days to give a demo ?
    3 . What will be the condition of service if demo taking so many days ?

I purchased a IFB microwave oven fro CROMA,Annanagar,Chennai.I was told demo person will come to my house.Aftre 8 days when nobody came,I made a complaint No. 3612010,dtd-11/10/2009.After that also I repeatedly reminded your center,till now no tech. has come to me.The oven is also giving troubleshooting. Please take necessary steps.
