Practicing architect? Here is your chance to showcase your design skills to the masses. It is know that HMRL, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, is ordering for the removal of shops for road widening in areas where the metro lane would arise. To provide those a place for those traders who lost their shops in the process, HMRL is planning to construct a shopping complex in Sultan Bazar area, shops in which will given to traders at less than market rate.
In this scenario, HMRL is inviting designs from architects and your design is shortlisted, not only can you see the complex you’ve designed come up in the area for real, you’ll also be awarded with a cash reward. The top three design, chosen by experts, will be awarded Rs.2 L, Rs.1 L and Rs.50 K respectively.
The officials have said that the complex will come at about 50 mtrs distance from Rail Corridor 1, which is the one from LB Nagar to Miyapur and about 300 mtrs from Rail corridor 2, which is Jubilee Bus Station to Falaknuma. Both these elevated corridors will be connected to the complex at 3 rd and 4th levels. The complex will have 5 floors from the ground level.
